For over eighteen years, I have walked alongside people navigating the terrain of their own bodies — through yoga, somatic practice, and the intimate spaces where movement meets memory. This book emerged from the thousands of small revelations that unfolded in those rooms: a student softening into a breath she'd held for decades, the tremor in someone's voice when they finally named what they'd been carrying.
Heart Becomes the Compass weaves together personal narrative, trauma-informed practice, and the lush backdrop of Greek landscapes into a meditation on what it means to belong — to your body, your past, and the place you stand in now. It is an offering born from the conviction that healing is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering who you already are beneath the layers of conditioning and forgetting.
